Elliott will be playing fro the 2nd time this season Anderson Co. who won on a buzzer beater over Shelby Co.

Just got home from the game, congrats to Lewis for playing us a good game, they didnt seem nervous or timid at all considering they had never been in this type of game before. We have an Elliott vs Anderson match-up in the first round of states, lets bring home the trophy boys!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! GO LIONS!!!!!!

Give Lewis props, they gave it their all. Good luck to Elliott County.

Congrats to Elliot County and the community of Sandy Hook on a three peat 16th Regional Championship :thumb::thumb::thumb:. Four title games in four years for this group of Elliot Seniors and three championships (and imo should and could have been 4 straight) and nothing else needs to be said. This group of kids are a "once in a lifetime" type team and I am sure they will be remembered forever in Sandy Hook. Lions, you have set several 16th regional records I believe and you deserved it. You have made the 16th region and especially all small (class A) schools proud.

I hope that you are cutting the nets down and celebrating...................next Saturday night in Lexington. :ylsuper:

Great job Elliott. I skipped out on the parade. Great to be back at Rupp. Just like last season, you have the opportunity to redeem yourself from a previous game (the Anderson Co. game wasn't your best 1st half showing).

 

I'm proud of the team effort and each player. Thank you for the past six years--they have been more than special!

Also, congrats to the Lewis County Lions a on a great run:thumb:. Lewis Co. certainly has nothing to hang their heads over, you were beaten by a better basketball team (as everyone else in the 16th region has been). Lewis Co. kids/players have made the 63rd district proud with their play on the court and with the class of your (Lewis) fans off the court as well.
